ExxonMobil Cepu Limited receives workforce development award from East Java Governor

Bojonegoro, 21 February 2017 — ExxonMobil Cepu Limited (EMCL) received the 2017 East Java Governor - Workforce Development Award. East Java Deputy Governor presented the award for EMCL’s contribution in developing the communities’ capacity which prepare them for employment through various community programs.

One example is through vocational training program in Bojonegoro, where EMCL conducted a variety of trainings such as haircut training, bridal make up training, and processing training. Since 2014, the program has benefited more than 250 community members in Bojonegoro who are now capable of driving economic growth in their surrounding areas.

“Through these trainings, we continue to empower the neighboring community towards economic independence by improving their entrepreneur skills,” said EMCL External Affairs Manager, Dave A. Seta.
