Banyu Urip Photography Competition

BOJONEGORO, February 2017 — ExxonMobil Cepu Limited (EMCL) together with Bojonegoro Community Information Network and Gayam Youth Organization conducted the 2017 Banyu Urip Workshop and Photography Competition. With the theme of “Building the community’s self-reliance”, this event aimed to encourage the neighboring community to improve their skills in photography as a way to showcase the villages’ prime product and tourism potential.

The series of events were started with a photography workshop which was attended by 40 community members from 12 villages in Gayam sub district. It was then continued with a rally photo competition joined by 146 participants who came not only from Bojonegoro, but also Yogyakarta, Solo, Ngawi, Surabaya and Lamongan. 

To mark the last series of the events, a photo exhibition was held in Bojonegoro Cultural and Tourism agency office to showcase the photos from the rally competition. Six awards were presented to the winners who captured the best shots of community self-reliance and Bojonegoro’s tourism potentials.
